JM Memorial Heart Foundation was incorporated in July, 2021 with the primarygoal of significantly reducing the prevalence of heart disease and demonstrablyimproving the overall heart health and quality of life for all Tanzanians. Thefoundation is on a mission to educate the public about heart disease, promoteearly detection, and support pioneering research.Our commitment is fuelled by the quest to help and educate Tanzanians wholack access to crucial information and resources.Heart diseases remain the leading cause of mortality globally, accounting formillions of deaths annually. Our proposal aims to address these pressing issuesin Tanzania for this case, through a comprehensive approach focused onprevention, early detection, and effective management of heart disease. With astrong emphasis on community engagement, education, and innovativeinterventions, we seek funding to implement a multifaceted program that willsignificantly impact heart health outcomes.
We are requesting a total of USD 24,334,217.85 in funding to support the implementation of this initiative over the next five (5) years. By investing in this project, funders will contribute to educate, saving lives, reducing healthcare costs, and improving the overall quality of life for individuals affected by heart disease, specifically in Arusha and other heavily affected areas within the United Republic of Tanzania .
